Last autumn, I was asked to photograph a wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. This was a first for me, I had never photographed a same-sex marriage before. It was a lovely warm day, the sky was blue and there was a nice breeze in the air. This was the first time I had photographed a wedding here, and straight away I was impressed by how well everything was kept. The staff were great, attentive but not intrusive, everywhere you looked was a photo opportunity. This wedding venue makes a photographers job easy work. Inside the barn there is a big window at the back (they might have been double doors) which provides plenty of natural light during the ceremony. As with all barn wedding venues, the wood or red brick interiors compliment skin tones as warm light bounces off of it. There was an option to have the ceremony outside under the clock tower but the couple decided to get married indoors. Capacity ranges from 30-50 to 100-150 so it is quite versatile and accommodates big and small weddings. Anyway, enough of me talking, I will leave a link to their website at the bottom of this post. Now, on to the wedding photos! Thank-you Beverly & Sharron for choosing me as your Cheshire Wedding Photographer.
